In this Karate training program, you will train in Okinawa, the birthplace of karate, and in the capital of Japan, Tokyo.
In Okinawa, you will experience the four major styles of karate which are Goju-ryu, Uechi-ryu, Shorin-ryu, Kobudo practice. You will then learn more about Karate & Okinawan Karate on the Karate History Tour. In Tokyo, you will experience training at Full Contact Karate and Shotokan style Karate famous dojos.
In Okinawa, you will experience the four major styles of Karate; Goju-ryu, Uechi-ryu, Shorin-ryu, and Kobudo. Whether it is before or after you’ve experience training the four styles, you will go on the Karate History Tour, visiting famous places where Karate originated.
In Tokyo, we offer training opportunities at the following dojos for foreign karateka who visit Japan and want to practice Full Contact Karate and Shotokan style Karate.
Yoshiji Soeno Sensei, also known to many as The Tiger of Josai and appears as an important figure in the famous manga Karate Baka Ichidai (Karate Master in English), founded The World Karate Association Shidokan in 1978. There are Shidokan branches in 68 countries around the world.

The Taishi-juku Dojo was established in 1994 by Tatsuya Naka Sensei, who has a track record of winning the Japan Karate Association’s national tournament in the individual kumite division. Naka Sensei is Shihan of the Japan Karate Association’s general headquarters.

・You need to respect Okinawan Karate Grand master.
・You have to bow when entering and leaving the dojo.
・Do not bother other students.
・Please bring your own Karate uniform, towel, and drink(s).
・Make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the lesson.
・Be sure to turn off your mobile phone during the lesson.
・You are not allowed to take pictures nor record without the permission of the sensei.
