With our Island Karate Camp in Okinawa, you will be able to take a ferry to one of Okinawa’s remote islands where you will learn Okinawan karate from a high ranking grand master of Okinawa Karate. While on the island, you will also have the chance to go to beach and enjoy some marine activities. We are sure you will have a good time.

・All instructors are 8th Dan or higher Karate masters.
・This tour is the only one that you can experience only in Okinawa, birthplace of Karate.
・You can visit 6-8 historical Karate spots that are difficult to get to by yourself, and you can meet famous Okinawan Karate masters.

Zamami is the largest inhabited island served by Zamami-son. Just a 50-minute ferry trip from Naha, the small villages and numerous beaches make the Kerama Islands a relaxing, accessible getaway. You’ll find friendly people, a slower pace of life, and everything locally-owned here.
Sakaemachi is a kind of local shopping arcade. Under the covered semi-transparent roof, we can find food grocery shops, restaurants & bars and kitchen goods store. It’s a great chance to see a piece of local people’s life.

・You need to respect Okinawan Karate Grand master.
・You have to bow when entering and leaving the dojo.
・Do not bother other students.
・Please bring your own Karate uniform, towel, and drink(s).
・Make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of lesson.
・Be sure to turn off your mobile phone during the lesson.
・You are not allowed to take pictures nor record without the permission of the sensei.
