Yoshitaka Taira Sensei is the president of the World Matsubayashi-ryu Karatedo Federation and also the President of the Okinawa Prefecture Karatedo Federation. He practiced under the leadership of Shoshin Nagamine, the founder of Matsubayashi-ryu, and taught as a teacher with what he had learned. Taira Sensei opened his dojoin 1995. Mr. Taira explains that the characteristics of Matsubayashi-ryu are the agility and the slight movement of the waist.
